Agavní

Agavní

Book cover. XIII Antología del Premio Municipal Manuel Mujica Láinez

Agavní is a short story (in Spanish) based in the history of Armenian women of the Mouradian family, mixed with other issues in the world of fiction. Here I read the beggining of the story, invited by EntreVidas TV in August 2020 (thanks Mauro Yakimiuk!). The video is in Spanish, with Spanish captions:

In 2019, the short story was selected as finalist in the XIII Edition of the Premio Municipal Manuel Mujica Láinez (San Isidro, Buenos Aires, Argentina) from 1981 stories that participated in the contest; and received a mention award. The jury was conformed by Gabriela Cabezón Cámara, Iosi Havilio and Julián López.

In 2020, Agavní was published in the Antology edited by Notanpüan, integrated by the two stories with prizes and the eight mentionss.

Lastly, here is a picture reading Agavní in the Feria del Libro Feminista (Filfem, translated Feminist Book Fair) in December 2019.
